COMPLETE01 · Lay the groundwork
Read the Agent Charter. Confirmed the repository is empty. Built a standard Next.js app for Vercel. Domain: fortunesrankings.kwehbi.com. Supabase free plan approved in Ashe Labs.
COMPLETE02 · Assemble the roster & design the rankings
Cross-check character names and official artwork. Build an emerald, parchment, and antique-gold ranking board with S / A / B / C / D / F tiers.
COMPLETE03 · Give every tactician a voice
Individual rankings, drag-and-drop and tap controls, saved snapshots, movement history, and side-by-side comparison.
COMPLETE04 · Test the full campaign
Production build and ranking unit tests passed. Supabase owner, visitor, conflict, and chapter checks passed with test data rolled back. Google provider and callback URLs are configured. Browser tap, undo/redo, chapters, history, comparison, and mobile layout checks passed. The 53-character site is live on the custom domain and automatically deploys from GitHub. All five unit tests, lint, and production build passed. Public viewing and denied anonymous writes are verified. Google sign-in recognizes Kelly, saved rankings load from Supabase, and concurrent edits are safely rejected. Squarespace DNS, Vercel domain routing, and HTTPS are verified. Kelly can add Andy and Ben’s Google emails from Manage players.
COMPLETE05 · Raise the stakes
Renamed the site Fortune’s Rankings and refreshed the copy around friendly rivalry. Added Cai to an animated four-hero banner with soft edge fades, a rotating gold crest, drifting sparks, a pause control, and reduced-motion support. Desktop, tablet, and phone layouts checked, including 320px screens. All five ranking tests, lint, TypeScript, and the production build passed.
COMPLETE06 · Let the artwork lead
Replaced all banner copy and character captions with the supplied Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave logo. Added an ivory finish, a gold light sweep, and a warm halo alongside the four featured characters. Desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts verified, including the shimmer pause control. All five tests, lint, and the production build passed.
Decisions & discoveries
- Waiting room characters and the Chronicle character selector are sorted A–Z by display name. Browser verification confirmed both lists; saved tier ordering is preserved.
- Player names: Kelly, Andy, Ben.
- Google sign-in through Supabase. Independent rankings for Kelly, Andy, and Ben.
- Updated per Kelly’s request: 53 playable characters, matching Game8’s All Playable Characters table and cross-checked against Fire Emblem Wiki. Guest/story-only entries are excluded; Eshmel is one card.
- Real rankings start unranked. The interactive demo is explicitly labeled and never writes to the shared database.
